STROKE: Remember The 1st Three Letters... S.T.R.
My friend sent this to me and encouraged me to post it and spread the word. I agree.

If everyone can remember something this simple, we could save some folks.

STROKE IDENTIFICATION:
During a party, a friend stumbled and took a little fall - she assured everyone that she was fine and just tripped over a brick because of her new shoes. (they offered to call ambulance)

They got her cleaned up and got her a new plate of food - while she appeared a bit shaken up, Ingrid went about enjoying herself the rest of the evening. Ingrid's husband called later telling everyone that his wife had been taken to the hospital - (at 6:00pm , Ingrid passed away.)
She had suffered a stroke at the party. Had they known how to identify the signs of a stroke, perhaps Ingrid would be with us today.
Some don't die. They end up in a helpless, hopeless condition instead. It only takes a minute to read this... sTROKE IDENTIFICATION:A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke...totally. He said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then getting the patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough.
RECOGNIZING A STROKE
Remember the "3" steps, STR . Read and Learn!
Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke. Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by askingthree simple questions :
S * Ask the individual to SMILE .
T* = TALK. Ask the person to SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently) (eg "It is sunny out today").
R* Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS .
If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call the ambulanceand describe the symptoms to the dispatcher.
NOTE : Another 'sign' of a stroke is
1. Ask the person to 'stick' out their tongue.

2. If the tongue is 'crooked', if it goes to one side or the other that is also an indication of a stroke.

A prominent cardiologist says if everyone who gets this e-mail sends it to 10 people; you can bet that at least one life will be saved.

On this valentine I am trying to express A very simple word yet the most difficult expression.

I never have a girlfriend or may be I didn’t take her like that but that doesn’t mean that I have

never experienced love. We all crave for love but yet we never realize it when it is close to us,

we take it for granted and never show our emotions towards it. We only realize when it goes away

from us.

What you think who was your first lover who loved you and still loves you more than you

love yourself???????

It¿s your mother, your bearer. Who cared for you all day and night when you cried and wetted

your bed, she never felt annoyed by your crying and wetting and still today she listens to

you and support you.

So care for her show your emotions how much you love her before it becomes too late.

Call her this evening and tell her how much you love and care for her. I myself will do it today.

Then comes your father: The one who stood always with you to protect you and save you

from any problem. Remember those old days when you had to go to school then your father

despite having very busy schedule always tried to drop you and to pick you up from school.

Show him regards and love to him too this valentine¿s especially daughter¿s should thank them

a lot as they are apples of their father¿s eyes.

Then comes your sibling with whom you fought a lot in your childhood but who now support

you whenever you are in trouble show your love to him/her too.

You will be thinking that why am I asking you to show love ???? it¿s because in family

we love each other but never ever able to show it, we take it forgranted and never think

about it, we try to find love outside while it is just around us and we never care for it, so use

this valentine¿s day to express your love and care to your close ones.

And of course to your sweetheart tooooooo as she /he is the one who will soon become

the part of your family

But remember valentine is not a one time activity. As per our Hindu culture given by

our “ JANMADATE Mother and father” it is a continuous activity, daily activity. But as per

Valentine’s foreign sanskriti you can express your emotions once per year minimum if you

missed it out. Therefore
