Hindus worship Lord Vishwakarma as the god of engineering and architecture. He is the presiding deity of goldsmiths, blacksmiths, carpenters, masons, and all people who possess craft skills. Lord Vishwakarma is the son of Lord Brahma, the Cosmic Creator.Lord Vishwakarma is pictured with four hands. He carries a book, a vessel, a noose, and craftsmen's tools. He is the personification of all creative power. All chariots, and divine weapons of the gods are created by Lord Vishwakarma. He built Dwarka, Yamapuri, and Lanka. He is also said to have created the image of Lord Jagannath and left it incomplete due to interruption.
Lord Vishwakarma is believed to be the architect and the master of all machinery equipments of gods. Son of Brahma, he is the divine draftsman of the whole universe, and the official builder of all the gods' palaces.
